Facilities Manager

Your Purpose...

• As the Fitness Manager you will be responsible to oversee and manage the fitness area of the club, you will be professional and being member-centric must come naturally to you.

Your Duties and Responsibilities...

• To at all times do your bit towards achieving our purpose to Inspire people to live an active life, this is achieved by believing and living our values through all we do, always innovating, inspiring people, have fun and do the right thing.
• Manage the member induction programme within the club
• Manage and ensure exceptional member service is maintained at all times
• Managing and monitoring the group exercise program and group exercise staff through the group training manager
• Manage all fitness related programmes and promotions
• Maintaining all training equipment and presentation of all fitness staff in accordance with our brand stand
• Manage the people element of the fitness department
• Manage department expenses, revenue and administration
• Assist with sales growth and retention in accordance with the company goals
• Actively assist and promote the ancillary products and services available to members
• Ensure a safe fitness environment exists for all staff and members.
• Creating an environment of fun, humour and play in all fitness departments
• As the brand ambassador you will be comfortable communicating with our members and people

Our Minimum Requirements...

We can't live without...

• Matric qualification essential
• Recognized industry fitness qualification essential.
• 2 years proven experience as a leader of teams.
• 3 years of proven skills within the fitness industry, preferably within a 4/5-star facility
• First Aid qualification with AED certification
• Must be knowledgeable and up to date with the fitness trends.
• Able to work shifts which includes weekends and public holidays.
• Must be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft Office
