Pinnacle Colleges is looking for an exceptional IsiZulu First Additional Language Teacher to join our academic team, teaching across Grade 0 to Grade 7.

We are looking for an experienced, highly adaptable and engaging educator who is confident working across both the Foundation Phase and Intermediate/Senior Phase, and who can seamlessly adapt their approach to suit learners at very different developmental and academic levels.

Please note: Due to the nature, complexity and demands of this position, applications from newly qualified graduates or candidates whose only teaching experience is practical teaching will not be considered and will be automatically disqualified. We require an educator with more than three years of substantive teaching experience who is able to work independently and confidently manage the demands of this role.

This is a high-pressure, highly administrative and results-driven position requiring exceptional organisation, flexibility and resilience.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold an appropriate teaching qualification and be professionally registered with SACE.
• Have more than 3 years' relevant teaching experience, with substantial experience across multiple grades and phases.
• Have strong subject knowledge and a proven ability to deliver excellent academic results.
• Be highly organised and capable of managing a demanding administrative workload.
• Be able to move seamlessly between Grade 0 and Grade 7, adapting teaching strategies, expectations and communication accordingly.
• Have an exceptional rapport with both learners and parents, building strong and positive relationships across the school community.
• Be creative, energetic and innovative in their approach to teaching.
• Have the ability to capture and maintain children's attention, making IsiZulu engaging, relevant and enjoyable.
• Go beyond simply delivering instructional content, with the ability to inspire, motivate and connect with learners.
• Be confident in differentiating instruction and adapting lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Thrive in a highly pressured, results-driven environment where academic excellence is expected.
• Work effectively and collaboratively with teachers and academic leadership across both phases.
• Be willing to take on additional responsibilities and contribute meaningfully to the broader life of the school.
• Demonstrate professionalism, initiative and the flexibility required to respond to the changing demands of the school.
