F&B & Events Manager – Hotel Operations

Rosebank, Johannesburg

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially minded and hands-on Food & Beverage & Events Manager to join our boutique hotel in Rosebank.

This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who loves food, events, people and creating memorable guest experiences, but who is also ready to grow into broader hotel operations.

The heart of the role

Your primary focus will be Food & Beverage and Events, two important revenue-generating areas of our hotel.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Lead and strengthen the hotel's F&B operation
• Conceptualise, plan and execute events and experiences
• Identify opportunities to grow F&B and event revenue
• Actively promote hotel offerings and convert opportunities into business
• Maintain strong food, beverage, service and cost controls
• Lead, coach and motivate the F&B team
• Build relationships with guests, clients, suppliers and partners
• Introduce new ideas, activations and revenue-driving initiatives

Broader Hotel Operations

As part of the management team, you will also support the Head of Operations across the wider hotel operation, including Guest Experience, Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance when required.

You do not need to be an expert in every hotel department from day one.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Food and Beverage Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred)
• Related Hospitality: 4 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Drivers license (Required)
• Diploma or Degree that relates to to the required experience (Preferred)
