Job description
Primary duties include:
Building out new fibre networks.
Splicing and connecting fibre optic cables to ensure seamless data transmission.
Conducting tests using OTDR and power meters to verify signal strength and network integrity.
Troubleshooting and repairing fibre optic networks to minimize downtime.
Reading and interpreting network diagrams or plans and technical schematics.
Thinking on the fly to make decisions for new builds.
Experience
Must have experience to work on GPON and Point to Point networks
Must have experience with link build, FTTH and FTTB environments.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with fibre optic splicing, a strong understanding of network infrastructure, and proficiency in using splicing and testing equipment.
Experience:
Fibre Optic Splicing: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
Driver license (Required)
