Fiel Marketer- Eastern Cape

Role

Working within the sales team in the designated Eastern Cape Area (Will include Mthatha/Lusiki/Bizana/Maclear/Port st Johns/Tsolo. The aim of this function is to develop new business and service existing customers within the Region.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Customer Service:

· Servicing the needs of existing customers

· Collecting customer feedback in a positive & constructive manner

· Merchandising and adhering to the required merchandising standards and/or layouts of stores

· Recommend products to customers

· Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

Business Development & Strategies

· Responsible for the achievement of sales targets and goals

· Maintain and increase sales for National Stationery

· Establish, maintain and expand the customer base / relationships

· Increase business opportunity through various routes to market

· Identifying business opportunities and opening new accounts

· Building the brand and negotiating of the best possible space and exposure

Sales Administration

· Communication with Area Manager on a regular basis.

· Continuously improve though feedback

· Returns management by monitoring and controlling returns

· Assist with trade shows, deliver stock as and when needed

· Responsible for collection of payments and depositing in company account

· Compiling sales figures and analyzing sales figures and report shortfalls to the Area Manager

· Logging daily customer contact on CRM

· Relevant claims submissions to be completed daily / weekly / monthly (odo readings, sales reports, petrol claims etc).

Company vehicle

· Take responsibility for the company vehicle

· Responsible for the vehicle maintenance and day to day care of vehicle

· Adhere to company vehicle policy and procedure

Industry Trends

· Monitor opposition activity and market trends and communicate findings to Management

· Always striving to be the best in the industry

Requirements

· 2–3 years’ experience in sales, merchandising, route sales or FMCG/retail sales.

· Based in Mthatha

· Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

· Valid Code 8 driver’s licence.

· Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Pay: R11 000,00 - R12 500,00 per month
