  • Present product, promotional and role-related information confidently and professionally using the required tools and devices.
  • Complete all required administration, reporting, call records, sales records, training registers, outlet files and escalation documentation accurately and within deadlines.
  • Support an improved customer experience by ensuring stores are sales-ready, staff are knowledgeable and service-impacting issues are appropriately addressed or escalated.
  • Demonstrate competence in the prescribed field call structure, including effective communication under pressure, challenging conversations, negotiation, influencing, judgement, compromise and problem-solving.
  • Maintain compliance with brand, operational, administrative, merchandising, stock, safety and reporting standards, including participation in role-plays, sign-offs, refresher training, quarterly assessments and retraining/reassessment where required.

Education & Experience

  • Matric / NQF Level 4 or equivalent is required.
  • A post-matric qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, Customer Service or a related field is advantageous.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in field marketing, retail sales, merchandising, telecommunications, FMCG, channel support or a similar customer-facing field role.
  • Experience in retail, telecommunications or field sales, including structured store visits, call cycles, audits, merchandising and compliance checks.
  • Experience providing in-store training, coaching, product updates or knowledge transfer to retail staff.
  • Telecommunications experience, particularly with Vodacom products, services, systems, campaigns or retail channels, is highly advantageous.

Skills & Attributes
