About the job
A field merchandiser looks after a route of stores rather than working in one. The job covers supermarkets, pharmacies and forecourts across the Cape Town metro, making sure the brand is on shelf, priced correctly and displayed the way it should be. Most of the day is spent driving between stores, working unsupervised and reporting back from a phone. Festive season brings extra resets and promotions from October through January.
What you will do
• Works a route of five to eight stores a day across the Cape Town metro
• Builds displays and promotions to the brand planogram
• Sets up gondola ends, floor stacks and point of sale material
• Deals with store managers on display space and short stock
• Reports damaged and expired stock for credit
• Covers extra resets and promotions through the festive peak from October to January
What you need
• Matric or Grade 12
• Can use email and the internet
• Can use WhatsApp Business
• Can use Outlook
• Can travel up to 20km to work
• Speaks English
