Field Service Technician

Our company is looking for a Dynamic Field Service Technician to join our KZN team, based in Amanzimtoti

The applying Candidate must meet the following criteria.

Minimum Requirements:

• Understanding of water filtration plants and Components.
• Understanding of electricity and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Plumbing and pipework experience is a MUST– PVC, HDPE, Speed fit, Copper, Mepla
• Knowledge of pumps & installation thereof.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No criminal record.

Qualifications + Work Experience:

• Matric certificate / N3 applicable certificate.
• Minimum of 1 years in-field experience – Plumbing or Pump industry
• Woking within a team.

Salary – dependant on practical infield experience.

Availability – Immediately

Job Description/Duties:

1. Install and maintain water treatment systems – Medical and Industrial.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to these systems.

3. Inspect and maintain water treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance.

4. Ensure installations comply with industry regulations, safety standards and company processes.

5. Shall be required to work flexible hours. Occasional night shifts. Some trips may require being away from home for a few days. There may be some long-distance driving

6. Candidate will be trained to decontaminate and service Reverse Osmosis systems and Industrial Water Treatment systems.

7. Required to follow all company policies and procedures as well as ISO 13485 standards.

8. Standby to be shared with other technicians – attending to emergency breakdowns.
