Job description
Final Product Inspection - Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of finished products. Verify products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Inspect product packaging, labelling, marking, and documentation prior to dispatch. Ensure all inspection and testing activities are completed according to approved procedures. Quality Control - Identify, record, and report product defects and non-conformances. Segregate and clearly identify non-conforming products. Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and support corrective and preventive actions Verify that corrective actions have been implemented before product release. Team Leadership - Supervise production operators and general workers during assigned shifts. Provide on-the-job coaching and training. Monitor employee performance and attendance. Promote teamwork, discipline, and adherence to company policies. Equipment and Maintenance - Monitor machinery performance and report equipment breakdowns promptly. Coordinate with the maintenance department to minimize downtime. Ensure production equipment is operated safely and correctly. Documentation - Complete inspection reports accurately and on time. Maintain quality records in accordance with company procedures. Record inspection results using manual systems or quality management software. Ensure traceability of products and inspection documentation.
Pay: From R195,00 per hour
