Job description
POSITION PURPOSE
To manage and support the portfolio on all financial requirements to ensure timeously payments, governance and reporting on the portfolio finances
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES OF THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT
- Financial approvals on Vantage
- Bill Clients (as per agreement)
- Receive POP from client and allocate payment
- Pre-pare EFT batches to pay contractors
- Pay contractors on time
- Send contractors EFT remittance to show what has been paid
- Obtain contractors statements
- Conduct a recon on the contractors statement and send the recon to the contractor
- Link building/ contractors/ clients on BOL
- Load contractor invoices of the portfolio on Concept
- Run a query on client accounts to check what has been paid and what has not been paid
- Extract client statements and send to the clients to query payment.
- Ensure financial process and procedures are followed at all time
- Managed the process to ensure timelines are met and the client are informed at all times.
- Manage feedback: Update the Broll system daily to add comments on the level of completion of outstanding work instructions & Keep track of feedback on a daily basis to clients internal and external.
- Support the accounts manager to obtain all data to ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports are send to the client as to the client’s requirements.
- Familiars yourself with the client SLA and manage the Broll dashboard to ensure you comply with the SLA and requirements.
- Adhere to all Broll process and policies at all time
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
- The SLA with our client will be used as a measurement of performance as well as the feedback on assessments from management and reporting structures.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE :
- Must have computer skills, know IT management systems, reporting, and meeting
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Must have 1 - 2 years of relevant financial experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
