SUMMARY: Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with strong bookkeeping to trial balance and administrative skills? Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join their dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and continuous improvement.
POSITION INFO: Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Relevant Finance or Bookkeeping qualification 5-10 years' experience in a Finance Administration role Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and OneDrive skills Valid driver's licence Excellent organisational and time management skills High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure Key Responsibilities: Perform daily and quarterly stock counts and investigate stock variances Process stock adjustments and maintain inventory records Manage non-stock purchasing, purchase orders and supplier quotations Maintain the fixed asset register, including asset tagging and reconciliations Prepare general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records Assist with VAT audits, financial audit preparation and BBBEE audit documentation Update financial schedules, creditor records and loan registers Provide general finance administration and support to the Finance Department Assist with Health & Safety and Quality Management System documentation The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities High levels of accuracy and attention to detail The ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
