Job description
NACOSA is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Finance Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing payment requisitions and process transactions and ensure its adherence to donor, statutory, company finance policy rules and regulations. The Finance Administrator will assist in ad-hoc tasks such as bookkeeping.
The duties and responsibilities of the Finance Administrator will include, but not limited to:

Perform financial administrative functions such as compiling monthly reports and payments.

Organize financial data for audits and procurement

Process payments and perform procurements tasks.

Ensure all accounts are updated.

Monitor cash flow and keep records of all transactions

Analyze and verify supporting documents

Compile reconciliation statements

Assist with creditors’ accounts.

Perform ad-hoc tasks (occasionally), such as standing in for colleagues or the supervisor.

A bachelor’s degree in finance or Auditing or related discipline
-
At least 3 years’ experience in an entry level accounting position.

Experience working on accounting / enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Experience working in finance and/or audition, within a non-profit organisation would be advantageous

Must have completed SAIPA Articles

Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes and procedures

Good Communication Skills

Mathematical Proficiency

Good Computer Skills (MS Office Suite)

Driver's License (Code B) with no endorsements
