Finance & Bookkeeping Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Remote (South Africa)
Hours: 15 hours per week initially, with opportunity to increase
Contract: Independent Contractor
Rate: R180–R230 per hour (depending on experience)

We're looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised Finance & Bookkeeping Manager to support the finance function across four growing UK businesses. This role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping and focuses on ownership, process improvement and providing meaningful financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping using Xero Bank reconciliations Accounts payable and receivable Revenue and supplier ledger management Prepare UK VAT information Support month-end and year-end processes Produce management accounts, cash flow and financial reports Improve financial systems and processes Liaise with the external accountant
Essential Experience
- Extensive UK bookkeeping experience Advanced Xero knowledge Strong UK VAT knowledge Management reporting Excellent Excel skills Remote working experience with UK businesses Excellent English communication
Desirable
- Hubdoc Cash flow forecasting Commission reconciliations Financial services or property sector experience
Working Requirements
Reliable computer, smartphone, high-speed internet and ability to work with overlap during UK business hours.
