Location: Remote (South Africa)
Working Hours: UK Business Hours
Salary: From R45,000 per month (Depending on Experience)

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Finance & Commercial Manager to join our leadership team.
This is more than a traditional finance role. You'll play a key part in managing the company's financial performance while providing commercial insight that supports strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, supplier payments, and reconciliations.
- Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Maintain financial and operational data within Simpro.
- Analyse financial performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Review project profitability and contract performance.
- Partner with operational teams to improve margins and commercial performance.
- Develop KPI dashboards and business reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Assist with year-end accounts and external accountants.
- Improve financial systems and processes to support business growth.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Strong experience in finance, accounting, or management accounting.
- Previous experience using Simpro software.
- Payroll processing experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent commercial awareness with an understanding of business profitability.
- Able to work independently, take ownership, and manage priorities effectively.
Desirable
- Experience within facilities management, construction, engineering, or property sectors.
- AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent finance qualification.
- Experience improving financial systems and business processes.
- Commercial finance or business partnering experience.
