Finance Intern - 12 Month FTC

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance Shared Services team in Cape Town. This internship is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to kick-start their career in finance and gain practical, hands-on experience across key finance processes in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Management Accountant, Credit Control team, and wider finance shared services function, supporting month-end activities, reconciliations, cash allocation, forecasting, and general finance administration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Accountant with month-end finance activities.
  • Prepare and support bank reconciliations.
  • Assist and support the Credit Control team with cash allocation.
  • Support the Management Accountant with the group cash forecast.
  • Complete finance-related administrative duties accurately and on time.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Recently completed a finance, accounting, or related qualification.
  • A genuine interest in building a career in finance.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, data, and financial information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
