Job description: We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and control functions within our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical finance expertise combined with a deep understanding of the unique cost structures, client billing models, and operational metrics common to the BPO industry across multiple geos.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage cost analysis and profitability tracking by client, account, and business unit — a critical function given the multi-client, contract-driven nature of BPO revenue
- Oversee client billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition in line with contract terms (FTE-based, transaction-based, or outcome-based pricing models)
- Monitor and analyze key BPO financial metrics such as cost-per-seat, utilization rates, attrition-related cost impact, and margin per account
- Partner with Operations and Account Management teams to support pricing decisions, contract renewals, and new deal costing/bid support
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across applicable jurisdictions
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions
- Support senior leadership with financial insights for strategic decision making, including expansion, new site setup, or client transitions
- Drive process improvements and automation in financial reporting and reconciliation Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations when applicable
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, CA, or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with a proven track record in a managerial or senior analyst role
- Prior experience working within the BPO/ITES industry is required — familiarity with multi-client environments, seat-based costing, SLA-linked billing, and offshore/nearshore delivery models
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and local statutory compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience presenting financial data to non-finance stakeholders (Ops, Sales, Client Services)
Pay: R23 267,45 - R38 391,29 per month
