Finance Officer

WOODSIDE SPECIAL CARE CENTRE is a residential home providing 24-hour

care for eighty profoundly intellectually and physically challenged residents in

Rondebosch East, Cape Town.

We are currently looking to recruit a permanent financial officer to join the

senior management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

 Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

 Produce Monthly management accounts and quarterly accounts.

 Process monthly payroll.

 Manage annual budgeting process.

 Manage Debtors and Creditors

 Maintain Asset register and stock.

 Coordinate annual audits and internal reviews.

 Managing & submitting all SARS submissions

 Conduct ad hoc projects under supervision of General Manager &

Treasurer

 Develop a culture of high performance within the team.

 Promote and practice good corporate governance & ethics.

 Practice effective financial management, administration, and processes.

 A business partner to executive and the various units.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 An undergraduate Financial or Accounting degree

 At least 10 years commercial or industry experience

 Strong Numerical and business skills

 Strong Financial systems & Microsoft knowledge.

 Leadership and problem-solving skills.
