Job description
Lexdan Select is assisting a manufacturer with their search for an accountant based in Blackheath, Cape Town.
This role is fully onsite with a salary range of R30 000 to R50 000 p.m.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Handle cost accounting, stock reconciliations, and inventory valuation
- Support production teams with budgets and cost control
- Review purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities on the plant floor
- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams
Requirements:
- 4–8 years' accounting experience
- Solid grasp of cost accounting and inventory management
- Comfortable using Excel and an ERP/accounting system
