Financial Accountant

Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced organisation with a complex multi-entity structure, is looking for a driven, energetic, and technically strong Financial Accountant to join their finance team. You will play a key role across multiple entities, taking ownership of a broad accounting function and providing accurate, meaningful financial information to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounting transactions, including journals, invoices, bills, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, financial reports, and income and expenditure analysis.
• Manage balance sheet and creditors reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and fixed asset registers.
• Manage banking processes, payment instructions, VAT submissions, and SARS-related queries.
• Prepare intercompany invoices, aircraft utilisation schedules, and income tax calculations for responsible entities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BCom degree is essential.
• 5+relevant accounting experience required.
• CIMA or SAIPA qualification will be advantageous.
• E-filing experience is essential, with strong knowledge of VAT and SARS processes.
• Strong technical accounting skills with experience working across multiple entities.
