One of the largest and most established manufacturing organisations is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening controls and delivering insights that support smarter business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Process journals and ensure accurate month-end reporting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls and company policies.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Monitor cash flow, fixed assets and capital expenditure.
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to support commercial decisions.

Job Experience & Skills Required

• BCom Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• 3–6 years’ commercial accounting experience.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, retail or a large corporate environment.
• Strong ERP system experience; SAP advantageous.
• Solid technical accounting and IFRS knowledge.
