Now it's time to put that experience to the test. If you're a Financial Accountant in JHB East with mining and construction experience, this could be the opportunity to step into a hands-on role where your skills will be put to work from day one.

With more than two decades in the industry, you'll be joining a business with a diverse footprint across the mining and construction sectors. Over the years, the operation has continued to expand, building a strong presence across multiple areas of the industry. For you, this creates an exciting finance environment where there's more to the business than meets the eye. You'll have the scope to take ownership across the finance function, work closely with senior stakeholders and build on your post-articles experience in a role where you'll genuinely be involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile daily banking transactions
• Prepare and process salary-related journals
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Take ownership of the full finance function and ensure accurate financial records

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Accounting / Finance or relevant qualification
• SAIPA or SAICA articles completed
• Minimum 2 years' post-articles experience
• Mining, construction or equipment industry experience is essential
• Strong ERP systems exposure and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Sage experience advantageous)
