Financial Accountant

Are you a recently qualified CA(SA) looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a motivated, ambitious, and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure across both the property development and financial services sectors while working closely with senior finance professionals in a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.

· Perform balance sheet, bank, creditor, and general ledger reconciliations.

· Analyse expenses, cash flow, rental income, and financial performance.

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting.

· Prepare and submit VAT returns and support tax compliance activities.

· Assist with annual audits and financial statement preparation.

· Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable clearing accounts.

· Monitor construction work-in-progress projects and capital expenditure.

· Support cash management and treasury activities.

· Contribute to process improvements and financial control initiatives.

Requirements

· Qualified CA(SA).

· Recently completed articles or up to 3 years post-articles experience.

· Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and IFRS.

· Advanced Excel skills.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Property development or real estate experience will be advantageous.
