They are seeking an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller to take ownership of the company's finance function while partnering closely with operations to drive business performance.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Degree in Accounting or a related financial qualification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounting, Financial Management or a Financial Controller role.
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written) – Essential.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
• Own reliable transport and willingness to travel to Ekandustria (between Cullinan and Bronkhorstspruit).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the company's finance function.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and financial regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, accountants and external stakeholders.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Develop and improve financial controls and reporting processes.
• Lead the implementation of a new ERP system.
• Become the internal ERP champion and support system optimisation.
• Develop and maintain product costing and pricing models.
• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure accurate product costing.
• Monitor inventory valuation and raw material costs.
• Partner closely with production to align financial and operational planning.
• Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Assist the Managing Director with strategic financial planning and reporting.
