Financial Controller
Simply Fresh Produce (Pty) Ltd — Cape Town, Western Cape
Full-time | Reports to: General Manager

About the role

Simply Fresh Produce is looking for a motivated Financial Controller to take ownership of our day-to-day finance function. The role suits someone accurate, deadline-driven and keen to grow their responsibility over time.

Minimum requirements

Matric with Accounting and Mathematics
Strong working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite, including Excel to formula level
Working knowledge of cash flow, collections, creditors, and profit and loss statements
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Accurate filing and record-keeping
Ability to work to deadlines and as part of a team
A flexible approach and a willingness to learn

Advantageous

Business Economics at Matric level
A tertiary qualification or short courses in finance or bookkeeping
Valid driver's licence

Hours

Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 15:00
Alternate Saturdays, 06:00 – 12:00

Remuneration

Three month probation, after which the position becomes permanent
Probation: R8 000 – R9 000 per month
Permanent: R9 000 – R12 000 per month, negotiable based on experience
