Stage Zero is a leading provider of solar and backup power solutions, dedicated to helping South Africans achieve energy independence, lower electricity costs, and safeguard against load shedding.
Role Overview
As a Field Service Electrician at Stage Zero, you will be at the forefront of our national rollout, ensuring the seamless installation, maintenance, and optimization of our Small Scale Embedded Generation (SSEG) systems. You won’t just be working with wires; you’ll be managing smart energy "brains," integrated communication systems, and providing a world-class experience to our residential and commercial clients.
Technical Qualifications & Experience:
- Industrial Trade Tested Electrician: (Mandatory).
- 3–5 Years Experience: Proven track record in Electrical Maintenance.
- SSEG Expertise: Solid understanding of, or formal qualifications in, Small Scale Embedded Generation (SSEG) Systems.
- Department of Labour (DOL) Registration: * Registered as an Installation Electrician (IE) is highly advantageous.
- Registration as a Single-Phase Tester will be considered.
- PV Green Card: A PV Green Card qualification is a significant advantage.
- Digital Proficiency: Basic knowledge of communication systems (ModBus, RS485) and a strong understanding of Mobile Applications and WiFi connectivity for system monitoring.
- Computer Literacy: Proven proficiency in using digital tools and reporting software.
- Driver's License: A valid Code B Driver's License.
- Personal Attributes:
- Client-Facing Professionalism: You are well-spoken, articulate, and comfortable representing the Stage Zero brand to clients.
- Autonomous & Driven: You enjoy working independently and managing your own workflow effectively.
- High Energy: You have an outgoing personality and a "can-do" attitude that matches our fast-paced growth environment.
