Fixed Asset Buyer

To purchase fixed assets for the stores and co-ordinate the distribution thereof.

Key Responsibilities

• Bill of Quantity (BOQ) is compiled to ensure timeous ordering of F&F for stores

• Manage Fixture and Fittings (F&F) Requisitions from the Field

• Manage Hanger Requisitions from the Field

• Project Management in line with Department objectives

• Relationship Management with internal and external stakeholders

• Inputs provided on budget

• Store Visits to ensure standards are met

• Ad hoc tasks and responsibilities

• Grade 12 with mathematics

• Tertiary qualification (Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying; Draughting; Space planning) will be an advantage

• 2-3 years retail experience (Store development, Space Planning, Asset Procurement)

• CAD experience (preferably Revit)

• PC literate / Microsoft (intermediate Excel)/ Google Suite

• Project management

• Revit / Autocad

• F&F system (e.g. Back Office System) will be an advantage

• Knowledge of store designing and space planning

• Knowledge of Fixture & Fittings

• Must be able to work well in a team

• Numerical aptitude

• Analytical ability
