Job description

Industry: Transport & Logistics
Department: Fleet / Risk Management

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Risk Controller to join our transport operation and oversee risk management across our fleet of trucks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and track the company fleet in real time
Monitor driver behaviour, routes and vehicle movements
Identify and report potential risks, incidents and irregularities
Ensure compliance with company transport and safety procedures
Monitor vehicle and driver movements against planned loads
Investigate unauthorised stops, route deviations and other exceptions
Liaise with Fleet, Operations, Drivers and Management
Maintain accurate daily risk and incident reports
Escalate incidents immediately and ensure proper follow-up
Assist with preventing theft, losses, accidents and operational risks
Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in fleet risk control / transport operations / control room environment
Experience working with a fleet of trucks is highly advantageous
Strong computer and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
Strong communication and reporting skills
Must be reliable, alert and proactive
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays where require

We are looking for someone who does not simply monitor the fleet, but actively identifies problems before they become incidents.
