Job description
The fleet controller will be responsible for overseeing the entire fleet, while in transit. It entails the following responsibilities:
· Sending an internal tracking report on discord, on a hourly basis.
· Monitoring vehicles on route, for both NB and SB
· Arranging escorts for South bound trucks and liasing with them regarding progress and incidents
· Assisting tracking team to follow up with drivers and push them
· Sending reports to clients, regarding delivery progress
· Following up with clients regarding vehicles that are loading cargo
· Booking cargo/loads for all South bound trucks
· Conducting sleep overs for trucks after normal working hours and ensuring that they are safely parked at designated parking areas/ truck stops
· Monitoring driver updates and resolving queries on whatsapp groups
· Sending pre-alert documents and notices, for South bound clearing process
· Assisting senior controller to dispatch drivers
· Sending daily reports internally and to clients
Job Type: Temp to perm
Pay: R12 000,00 - R17 000,00 per month
