Job description
Afrirent Holdings is looking for a dynamic Fleet Pricing Administrator with a background in bids and tenders to provide support to the business development department by understanding and defining the scope and specifications of tenders and suitable business opportunities for Afrirent, so that keenly priced tenders and requests for quotations (RFQ’s) are submitted. This involves reviewing tender requirements and pricing models required to develop a commercial/pricing model responsive to the tender/client requirements, whilst meeting business objectives and ensuring targeted revenues and profit margins are met. To also monitor the market for price fluctuations and submit price options in line with Afrirent’s approved policies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
· Conducts research to identify new business opportunities and relationships
· Compiles and delivers presentations to potential clients and stakeholders on Afrirent’s product offerings
· Conducts research on relevant legislation and fleet management updates to advise potential clients and to guide business proposals and applications
Operational Pricing, Support
· Interprets and understands the scope and specifications of tender documents
· Contacts suppliers and service providers to obtain quotes and pricing options as per required specifications
· Liaises and collaborates with internal departments such as operations, procurement and finance to ensure alignment of pricing with internal processes
· Compiles and presents financial and commercial analyses to internal stakeholders to inform business decisions
· Compiles and submits accurate and effective costs, benchmarking and pricing options which meet the required specifications · Identifies all potential risks and cost implications
· Calculates and reports on profitability for internal review and approvals
· Updates costing models post tender approvals and reports on price increases, implications and potential risks 50%
Project Support
· Attends project meetings and conducts site visits to provide support and alignment to client specifications
· Advises on risk management and identifies potential new risks
· Monitors projects to identify problems and/or delays and assists with the resolutions thereof
· Compiles, submits and presents detailed project status reports
· Ensures delivery of vehicles as per approved project plans and contractual obligations
· Monitors and oversees all projects and related contracts in collaboration with the relevant internal stakeholders/business units 15%
Stakeholder Engagement
· Develops and maintains relationships and communication channels with new clients
· Maintains relationships with relevant service providers and suppliers to keep abreast of trends and price amendments
· Attends and participates in various stakeholder forums, workshops, and meetings

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Minimum
· Diploma (NQF level 6) in Finance / Fleet Management / Supply Chain Management/ Economics or related
Experience

· 2 years’ experience in pricing /costing/ procurement within a fleet environment
Kindly note that the salary is from R19 000, however, it is negotiable depending on the qualifications and experience which will be discussed with the successful candidate
