Fleet Supervisor

We are looking for a reliable, organised and experienced Fleet Supervisor to oversee the company’s vehicles and ensure that the fleet is properly maintained, licensed, compliant and operational at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day management of company vehicles.
• Ensure all vehicle licences and registration documents are valid and renewed on time.
• Monitor vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records and service histories.
• Schedule regular vehicle inspections and servicing.
• Ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant with relevant legislation.
• Liaise with workshops, dealerships, insurance companies and service providers.
• Monitor vehicle breakdowns, accidents and repairs.
• Track vehicle mileage, fuel usage and maintenance costs.
• Ensure drivers have valid licences and required documentation.
• Monitor vehicle availability and minimise downtime.
• Maintain fleet compliance files and reports.
• Provide regular fleet reports to management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Previous experience in fleet, transport or vehicle administration.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge of vehicle licensing, servicing and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
