Minimum Requirements Minimum Requirements: Candidates should preferably have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification at the NQF level. Flexibility to work various shifts is essential. Applicants must demonstrate strong customer service skills, including the ability to greet and assist customers professionally and effectively advise on product options. Attention to detail in stock management and adhering to hygiene and safety standards is required. Candidates should possess intermediate proficiency in communication, planning, organization, and product knowledge. Basic team orientation and a commitment to honesty, reliability, and ethical behavior are critical. Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous. The ability to work within company policies and follow high-risk and low-risk discipline protocols is necessary. Enthusiasm for learning and creativity in problem-solving will be beneficial.

  • Apply selling skills by understanding customer needs, advising on product options, and offering suitable alternatives.
  • Demonstrate thorough product knowledge, including awareness of new lines and promotions.
  • Adhere to shop-keeping disciplines, completing required documentation such as temperature records and price adjustments promptly.
  • Report any dishonesty or shrinkage incidents to management, ensuring stock security.
  • Exhibit personal leadership by maintaining attendance, dress code, hygiene, and punctuality standards.
  • Participate actively in team meetings to understand daily focus and contribute constructively to team effectiveness.
