Food and Beverage Attendant

Main Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to guests.
• Assist with restaurant, buffet, café and other F&B operations.
• Set up, clear and maintain dining areas, tables and service stations.
• Serve food and beverages according to company standards.
• Replenish buffet items, beverages, cutlery, crockery and other supplies.
• Assist Waiters and F&B Supervisors during busy service periods.
• Respond to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Follow HACCP, food-safety, sanitation, health and safety procedures.
• Handle guest enquiries and escalate complaints to the appropriate supervisor.
• Work effectively within a multicultural and international team.
• Follow all company and shipboard policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous F&B, restaurant, hotel or cruise-ship experience is preferred.
• Previous cruise-ship experience is an advantage.
• Good spoken and written English.
• German language skills are preferred and will be considered an advantage.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and sea days.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.

Pay: R15 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
