The successful candidate will support the daily food service operation by assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience for students, staff, and visitors.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals, snacks, and beverages. Serve food in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure serving areas are clean, stocked, and ready for service. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health, and safety. Assist with dishwashing, cleaning of kitchen equipment, and general housekeeping duties. Receive and store stock according to food safety requirements. Support catering functions and special events as required. Follow portion control and food handling procedures. Report maintenance, stock, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor. Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure efficient service delivery.### Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible shifts when required. Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.### Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Previous experience in a food service, catering, hospitality, or kitchen environment will be advantageous.
