Job description

Forms Workflow Quality Assurance Analyst

Department: Digital Clinical Content

Type: Contract (6 months with option to extend/make permanent)

Location: Remote (team buildings and special events will be held in person)

About the Role

DXS International builds clinical desktop software used by thousands of NHS GP practices across the UK. Our platform delivers intelligent electronic referral forms that guide clinicians through complex workflows, applying conditional logic, validation rules and dynamic content to ensure every referral is complete, accurate and compliant.

As a Forms Workflow Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating electronic clinical forms to ensure they meet DXS quality standards, customer requirements, and clinical specifications before release. You will perform detailed technical quality assurance, ensuring that form functionality, formatting, logic and user experience are accurate, consistent and free from defects.

This is a hands-on quality assurance role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify issues before forms are given to customers.

What You'll Do

  • Review electronic clinical forms: Conduct detailed technical quality assurance on electronic referral forms, ensuring all functionality, conditional logic, validation rules and dynamic behaviour work as intended.
  • Verify against source documentation: Compare created / updated forms and customer specifications to ensure all requirements have been implemented accurately.
  • Test workflows: Thoroughly test every possible workflow path, identifying logic errors, broken functionality, formatting inconsistencies and usability issues before release.
  • Ensure quality standards: Verify that forms comply with DXS quality standards, customer requirements, accessibility expectations and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify and document defects: Clearly record any issues found, providing detailed feedback to Content Configurators to enable efficient resolution.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Content Managers, Content Configurators and other Technical Quality Assurers to deliver high-quality clinical content within agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain documentation: Record quality assurance findings, recurring issues and process improvements to support continuous improvement across the team.
  • Support continuous improvement: Contribute ideas that improve quality processes, reduce recurring issues and enhance overall content standards.

Who You Are

  • Detail-obsessed: You naturally notice inconsistencies, formatting issues, missing functionality and logic errors that others might overlook.
  • Analytical: You enjoy investigating how things work and methodically testing every possible scenario.
  • Quality-focused: You take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work and ensuring nothing leaves your desk with avoidable errors.
  • Tool-savvy: Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience working with digital forms, testing software or quality assurance processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communicator: You provide clear, constructive feedback and document issues in a way that allows others to resolve them efficiently.
  • Organised: You can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
  • Reliable under pressure: You remain thorough and accurate, even when working to deadlines.
  • Adaptable: You embrace change, learn new systems quickly and continuously look for ways to improve.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to clinical content, healthcare IT, or NHS systems and terminology.
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance, testing, auditing or validation role.
  • Experience reviewing electronic forms, digital workflows or structured content.
  • Familiarity with workflow testing, defect logging or quality management processes.

This role sits within the DXS Content team. The internal job title is Content Technical Quality Assurer.
