At Glenstantia Primary School in Pretoria, the Foundation Phase is where confidence, curiosity and core learning habits begin to take shape.

We are looking for a Foundation Phase Teacher who can bring energy, structure and care into the classroom, while also teaching Afrikaans as a First Additional Language with confidence.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working with younger learners, understands the importance of strong early learning foundations and is comfortable contributing both in the classroom and through the school’s extramural and co-curricular activities.

What We Are Looking For

• A recognised REQV14 qualification – a four-year Education Diploma or Bachelor of Education in the Foundation Phase
• SACE registration and a valid certificate
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Proficiency in teaching Afrikaans as a First Additional Language
• Computer literacy
• Willingness and experience in participating in extramural and co-curricular activities

The following would be an advantage:

• A remedial qualification and relevant remedial experience
• Previous teaching experience in the Foundation Phase
