Foundry Assistant (Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering Graduate, or Qualified Moulder)

The ideal candidate is a recent Engineering Graduate with a BEng /BSc Eng / BTech in Metallurgical, Mechanical Engineer or a Qualified Moulder who is motivated and passionate about Engineering and eager to gain practical industry experience, developing their technical skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Foundry Manager with all production, process and quality related tasks as set out.
• The applicant must possess good supervisor and communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ensure that foundry units meet quality, safety, delivery, and performance standards required for underground mine dewatering applications, while maintaining high equipment availability, compliant facilities, and a safe working environment.

Candidates should be aware that this is not a desk-bound engineering role, but one that involves practical work, problem-solving, and direct engagement with machinery and projects.

• BTech, BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Qualified Moulder
• 0–3 years’ experience in a Foundry or engineering environment (advantageous)
