Franchise Operations Partner

Occupational Level: Junior Supervisory / Operational Support
Location: Durban

The Franchise Operations Partner is responsible for driving the financial performance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth of Franchise Partners and Independent outlets within an allocated region.

This role works hands-on in stores, supporting franchisees with financial management, execution of brand standards, and day to day operational improvements, to ensure above-average returns on investment and consistent delivery of the brand experience.

Job Objective

• Conduct regular in-store visits in line with an effective regional travel roster, providing hands-on operational support.
• Lead monthly operational review meetings with Franchise Partners, focusing on performance, execution gaps, and action plans.
• Complete the monthly SOP compliance checklist professionally and consistently and submit findings.
• Work alongside store teams to improve execution of treatments, retail sales, customer service, and daily operating procedures.
• Act as a brand custodian, ensuring full compliance with brand standards across:

– Product sales and treatment protocols

– Operational procedures

– Look and feel of the salon

– Training standards

– Marketing execution

• Identify training requirements at the Franchise Partner and inform the Franchise Partner to communicate these training requirements within the same month to the training department for training intervention.
• Work directly with Franchise Partners to develop, implement, and track store-specific budgets, targets, and action plans.
• Analyse store financials (turnover, margins, expenses, productivity) and identify opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance to the Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum Matric.
• Good knowledge of the Health & Beauty industry.
• Strong retail experience.
• Financial and computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s license and Own vehicle.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and effectively resolve conflicts.
• Independently manage and oversee the operations of multiple salons.
• Fanatical attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Willing to travel.
