Freelance Registered Dietitian – Weight Management & Emotional Eating

Dietitian Fit & Co is a UK-based dietitian company looking for an experienced and compassionate Freelance Registered Dietitian to join our growing team and provide high-quality 1:1 consultations to private clients online.

The successful candidate will have strong experience and a particular interest in weight management and emotional eating, with the ability to support clients using an evidence-based, non-judgemental and sustainable approach.

Additional experience in kidney disease/renal nutrition, gut health and/or women’s health would be a significant advantage.

This is a freelance position suited to a dietitian who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary dietetic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 dietetic consultations and follow-up appointments
• Assess clients' nutritional needs, health history, lifestyle, eating behaviours and goals
• Provide personalised, evidence-based nutrition recommendations
• Support clients with sustainable weight management and behaviour change
• Work confidently with emotional eating, eating behaviours and clients who have struggled with repeated dieting
• Develop realistic and individualised nutrition plans
• Monitor client progress and adapt recommendations where appropriate
• Maintain clear, accurate and timely clinical records
• Communicate professionally with GPs and other healthcare professionals when required
• Work within HCPC standards and Dietitian Fit & Co's clinical policies and procedures

Essential Requirements

• Registered Dietitian
• Strong knowledge and experience in weight management
• Experience supporting clients with emotional eating and behaviour change
• Confident delivering independent 1:1 consultations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, professional and non-judgemental approach
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Comfortable working with private clients and providing a high standard of client care
• Reliable and able to manage clinical documentation within required timeframes

Desirable Experience

Experience in one or more of the following would be a strong advantage:

• Kidney disease / renal nutrition
• Gut health, IBS and digestive conditions
• Women’s health, including PCOS, menopause and hormonal health
• Diabetes and metabolic health
• Motivational interviewing and behaviour-change techniques

• Must be able to maintain client confidentiality and data security when working remotely.

Pay: R300,00 - R450,00 per hour

Experience:

• 1:1 dietetic consultations: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• HPCSA (Required)
