About the Role

Do you love Cape Town and enjoy sharing its breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture with visitors from around the world?

Guydeez is looking for Italian-speaking locals to lead private, personalized walking experiences for small groups of international travelers. This freelance opportunity is ideal for people who enjoy meeting visitors, sharing local stories, and creating authentic experiences.

No professional tour guide license is required. We value local knowledge, excellent communication skills, and enthusiasm for showcasing Cape Town.

What You'll Do

• Lead private walking experiences (typically 3–8 hours) across Cape Town
• Share engaging stories about the city's history, culture, neighborhoods, and landmarks
• Personalize each experience according to guests' interests and pace
• Recommend local attractions, restaurants, markets, and cultural experiences
• Create a welcoming, informative, and memorable experience for every visitor
• (Optional) Host food-focused experiences for guests interested in South African cuisine

Who We're Looking For

• Based in Cape Town or very familiar with the city
• Strong knowledge of Cape Town's landmarks, history, and cultural highlights
• Fluent in Italian (required)
• Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with international visitors
• Comfortable leading walking experiences lasting 3–8 hours
• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, customer service, or guiding is a plus but not required
• Passion for culture, storytelling, and gastronomy is an advantage
