Job description

Savemore spar is hiring a Front and Back Retail Supervisor to manage both customer-facing front-end operations (cashiers, sales floor, customer service) and the behind-the-scenes back-end operations (inventory, stockroom, shipping/receiving, logistics).

Job Descriptions:

Front-End Operations

· Lead the sales floor team to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated customer complaints.

· Monitor POS (Point of Sale) systems, manage cash registers, approve refunds/discounts, and balance daily takings

· Control refunds, voids and discounts within authorized limits.

· Monitor customer traffic, adjust cashier lane coverage, and enforce visual merchandising and promotional display standards.

Back-End Operations

· Oversee stock levels, conduct cycle counts or full physical stock takes, and report discrepancies.

· Coordinate delivery schedules, manage loading dock/stockroom organization, and ensure incoming deliveries are processed and priced promptly.

· Maintain clear communication between stockroom logistics, buying teams, and front-end cashiers.

Team Leadership and Administration.

· Train, mentor, and evaluate cashiers and stock/floor associates.

· Help build staff rosters covering trading hours, weekends, and holidays.

· Enforce health, safety, and security protocols across the sales floor and stockrooms.

Job requirements:

· 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment (spanning both sales floor and inventory/stock handling).

· Previous cashier experience is advantageous.

· Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic reporting tools.

· Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities under pressure.

· Ability to stand for long periods, walk the sales floor, and lift/move stock.
