Front Desk & Operations Manager Location: Parklands North, Cape Town Position Type: Part-Time
Reports To: General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and digitally-savvy Front Desk & Operations Manager to lead our guest services, drive our digital presence, and oversee daily administrative and financial functions. Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Problem Solving: Act as the face of the guest house, ensuring seamless check-ins/check-outs, anticipating guest needs, and swiftly resolving any issues with grace and diplomacy.
Media Marketing & Content Creation: Develop, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns. Photograph and film daily life at the guest house to create engaging reels, tiktoks, and posts that drive direct bookings.
Financial & Inventory Administration: Oversee daily billing, basic bookkeeping, cash handling, invoicing, and vendor payments. Manage property inventory, order supplies, and control costs.
Digital Operations: Efficiently utilize Property Management Systems (PMS), Online Travel Agencies (OTAs like Booking.com and Expedia), channel managers, and basic tech troubleshooting. Qualifications & Requirements
NB: CANDIDATES SHOULD RESIDE AROUND PARKLANDS NORTH OR NEARBY.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience encompassing:
◦ Traditional and digital media marketing(content creator).
◦ Financial and inventory administration. ◦ Front-of-house hospitality or high-touch customer service.
Digital Literacy: High proficiency with modern software, social media platforms, MS Office/Google Workspace, and property/booking management systems.
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills, a natural knack for problem-solving under pressure, attention to detail, and a welcoming, professional demeanor.
