A leading 4★ Guest House in Mbombela is seeking two professional Front Desk Reservations candidates to join its hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly, organised individual with experience in guest service, reservations, and front desk operations. Candidates will be responsible for creating a welcoming first impression, handling guest enquiries, confirming bookings, and supporting smooth operations. Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are important. Candidates who enjoy working with people and providing service will be suited to this role. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and a professional approach when assisting guests. Afrikaans and English fluency is essential. Marketing and sales experience will be advantageous for this guest-focused opportunity in Mbombela.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a front of house, reception, or reservations role within a lodge, hotel, guest house, or hospitality environment – Essential.
• Strong guest service and communication skills, preferably within a lodge or safari environment.
• Ability to manage reservations, guest check-ins, enquiries, and general administration efficiently.
• Professional appearance, well-spoken demeanour, and confident guest-facing communication.
• Must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans – Essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain accuracy during busy periods.
• Positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and ability to function effectively as part of a hospitality team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Marketing and sales knowledge or experience will be beneficial.
• Passion for delivering professional reception and guest service while maintaining high hospitality standards.

Package – Reservations, Reception, Hospitality & Mbombela

• Salary: R9,500 – R12,000 per month.
• One position is live-in.
• One position is live-out.
