Job description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Front-End Store Controller to oversee the daily operations of the store’s front-end and ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and support cashiers and front-end staff
Ensure efficient and accurate till operations
Monitor cash handling, cash-ups and daily transactions
Assist with returns, refunds and customer queries
Ensure excellent customer service at the front end
Monitor staff attendance, performance and daily duties
Ensure tills are properly staffed and operational
⚠ Identify and report discrepancies or issues
Assist with maintaining an organised, clean and efficient front-end area
Support the store in achieving sales and customer-service targets
Follow company cash-handling and operational procedures

REQUIREMENTS

Previous retail front-end / cashier supervisory experience
Experience managing or supervising a team
Good numerical and administrative skills
Strong customer-service and communication skills
Honest, reliable and trustworthy
Able to work under pressure in a busy retail environment
Relevant retail experience is essential
