Front-of-House Cashier

Fast Food Restaurant is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Front-of-House specialist to join our energetic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, processing orders efficiently, and maintaining the high standards that Mochachos is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system.
• Resolve customer queries and escalate concerns only when necessary.
• Ensure sufficient stock levels to meet customer demands
• Handle cash, card, and third party delivery platform transactions responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front counter and dining area.
• Assist with packaging take-away orders and ensuring timely service.
• Uphold Mochachos brand standards in customer service and presentation.
• Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in the Quick sservice restaurant industry such as Pedro's, Nandos, Mochachos, Burger King, KFC and McDonald's
• Diploma in Business Management preferred.and Matic Certificate (Grade 12)​ essential
• Previous customer service experience in a fast-food environment is essential.
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• ONLY Candidates residing in Durban North, Pheonix, Umhlanga and surrounding areas will be considered
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with transactions and in handling cash.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
