Front of House - Team Leader

About the Role

As a Front of House Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our front-facing services, ensuring an exceptional experience for customers. This role focuses primarily on hospitality management, staff supervision, and customer service excellence within a dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the brand's standards and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the front of house team to deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
• Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Train and mentor team members, promoting professional development and a positive workplace culture.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Monitor service quality and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff attendance to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Valid Drivers License
• Diploma in Hospitality
• 10 years experience in hospitality
• Proven track record in a front-of-house or hospitality supervisory role.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrable experience in staff management, training, and development.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving, with a proactive approach to service challenges.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations within the hospitality industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume hospitality setting.
• A relevant hospitality or management qualification.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
• Additional language skills to enhance service delivery to diverse customers.
