Studefy is an AI-powered education platform on a mission to transform how schools operate. We are building an intelligent ecosystem that connects school administrators, teachers, students, and parents through one modern platform.

Our vision is to simplify school management, improve communication, automate repetitive administrative tasks, provide AI-powered insights, and help schools make better data-driven decisions.

We are currently building our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and are looking for a passionate Founding Full Stack Software Engineer to join us at the beginning of this journey.

This is a rare opportunity to become one of the first members of an ambitious startup and play a major role in shaping both the product and the company.

About the Role

As our Founding Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work directly with the founder to design, build, and launch the first version of Studefy.

You won't simply be writing code - you'll help make key technical decisions, influence the product roadmap, and build the foundation for a platform designed to scale across schools.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging problems, building products from scratch, and wants to be part of something with long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Studefy MVP.
• Design scalable backend architecture and APIs.
• Develop responsive, high-quality web applications.
• Build secure authentication and user management.
• Work on dashboards and core school management features.
• Collaborate on product planning and feature prioritization.
• Participate in technical architecture decisions.
• Prepare the platform for future Android and iOS applications.
• Continuously improve performance, reliability, and user experience.

Preferred Skills

Experience with some or most of the following:

• React
• Next.js
• TypeScript
• Node.js
• PostgreSQL
• Supabase or Firebase
• REST APIs
• Git & GitHub
• Tailwind CSS
• React Native or Expo (advantage)
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar is a plus.

Compensation

This is currently an equity-based founding opportunity.

As an early-stage startup, we are not yet in a position to offer a full market salary. Instead, successful candidates will receive an equity stake in Studefy, allowing them to share in the long-term success of the company.

Our objective is to launch the MVP, secure pilot schools, raise funding, and transition founding team members into paid roles as the business grows.
