Full Time YouTube & Short Form Content Editor
ScaleClinics
Other,
Job description
I'm Simon, the Founder and CEO of ScaleClinics, a patient acquisition agency for telehealth and in-person clinics in the US. We run paid ads and build funnels for weight loss, hormone therapy, and peptides.
I need one person to own the video output for both ScaleClinics and my personal brand:
What you'll actually do
Every month you'll edit
four long-form (10-15 minute) videos for the ScaleClinics channel
(B2B, talking to clinic owners and telehealth founders about marketing, compliance, and patient acquisition) and
four long-form (10-15 minute) videos for my personal channel
(B2C, broader agency owner, educational content).
From those eight videos you'll pull
roughly 24 short-form clips
for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You decide which moments are worth clipping. I'm not going to hand you timestamps.
You'll work from raw footage plus a script. I film, you turn it into something people finish watching.
The money
$2,500 a month, paid in USD, with paychecks bi-weekly.
Where this goes
I'm hiring an editor now that I want to be promoting to creative director in 6-12 months. That person sets the visual direction specifically for the B2C side, briefs and manages the next editors we bring on, and sits in on content planning with me instead of receiving assignments.
That role pays $4,500 to $5,000. I'm telling you the number so you can decide if the path is worth taking.
If you want a stable editing job and nothing more, this is not the right fit. I'd rather you skip it than take it. I want someone who has real proven experience editing and ideating youtube videos, and someone with a genuine brand vision in the coaching B2C space.
What you need
- Two or more years editing content for YouTube, not corporate video or weddings
- Experience with thumbnail design
- A genuine passion for content, and creating engaging videos
- Skilled in a professional editing suite (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro) and able to do your own motion graphics: animated text, callouts, lower thirds, and transitions with real movement. After Effects is the standard tool, but I care about what you can produce more than what you produce it in.
- A real feel for short-form pacing. You know exactly why certain clips perform well while others flop
- Fluent written and spoken English
- A competent computer to edit on
- Reliable power and internet, with a backup plan for both
- Available to work US EST hours
How to apply
Please don't send a generic application, your effort put into applying shows how much you value the opportunity.
Send me:
- Two links.
One long-form video you edited, one short-form clip you edited. Tell me exactly what you did on each if it was a team effort. 2. A short answer to this:
pick either of those two videos and tell me in three or four sentences what you would change if you re-cut it today. 3. One creator whose editing you admire
and one specific thing they do that most people get wrong.
If LinkedIn doesn't allow you to add all this stuff, email info@scaleclinics.io
Put
EDITOR-2026
in your message so I know you read to the end.
Shortlisted candidates get a paid test edit. Real footage, real money, roughly four hours of work. I don't ask people to work for free.
