Funeral Plan Sales Agent

We are looking for confident, target-driven Funeral Plan Sales Agents to join our Financial Services Sales team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for engaging with customers telephonically, understanding their needs and promoting suitable funeral insurance products while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to all required compliance standards.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, comfortable discussing financial protection products and motivated by achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact and engage with prospective and existing customers telephonically.
• Promote and sell funeral plan products based on customer needs.
• Clearly explain product benefits, premiums, cover and relevant terms and conditions.
• Conduct professional and needs-based sales conversations.
• Handle customer questions and objections confidently.
• Achieve individual and campaign sales targets.
• Accurately capture and verify customer information.
• Follow all required quality, compliance and regulatory processes.
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
• Ensure customers have a clear understanding of the product before completing the sale.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Previous call centre sales experience is highly advantageous.
• Previous experience selling funeral plans, insurance, banking or other financial products will be advantageous.
• Strong sales, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused and professional telephone manner.
• Comfortable working in a highly target-driven environment.
• Good computer and data-capturing skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a high-performance sales team.
