Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, plating, and meal service in accordance with hospital standards
Deliver meals to patients and support patient feeding services where required
Ensure dining, kitchen, and service areas are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hygiene procedures
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock
Adhere to food safety, infection control, and health & safety regulations at all times
upport the catering team with daily operational requirements

Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering excellent service
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a hospitality, catering, housekeeping, cleaning, or general assistant role will be advantageous.
