General Assistant

Our General Assistants in the Upholstery Department play an important role in supporting daily production operations by assisting with material handling, housekeeping, waste management, and general operational support within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move stock, materials, equipment, and furniture safely within the facility
• Load and off-load stock, furniture, and materials when required
• Assist production staff with general operational duties
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness within work areas
• Follow all safety procedures and operational standards
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or quality concerns

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures
• Previous experience in furniture manufacturing, production, or a similar environment advantageous
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
